Customer Security
We take our customers' security incredibly seriously. After all, we shop online ourselves and absolutely understand how important it is to trust the security credentials of the companies we buy from. That's why, if you place an order online through our website, no-one at Caine ever sees your card details. We don't store them and have no access to them at any point. Instead we use a company called Sage Pay to process the payment details of your order. They are UK based and used by around 25,000 other online businesses including Easyjet and Lovefilm.com . You can check them out by visiting their website below. Once you click on the "proceed to payment" button you will be taken to Sage Pay's secure online servers. All your information is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and you can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Sage Pay’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. All sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data Sage Pay hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so. As an alternative to submitting your credit card details we offer the option to pay using Paypal. All you need to do then is use your Paypal login to authorise the payment. This can be selected as a payment method from our checkout screen.
